Astronomical Tour
Focusing on the contents and covering our infinite curiosity; we have designed an activity that considers an introductory talk, with contents of classical astronomy; the evolution of cosmological theories and general concepts of the Andean worldview.
We will observe with professional 8” telescopes; objects such as clusters, nebulae and other stellar geometries.
Finally, we will share the technique for capturing astronomical photos with phones and we will take long exposure photos that we will send you digitally.
What is it about
We will have an introductory talk to Astronomy, basic concepts for the interpretation of objects; history of classical astronomy and the great cosmological paradigms. We will also make an introduction to the worldview of the native peoples of Chile, about the latest discoveries and particularities of the communities that inhabited Atacama.

We took the Astronomical Tour and it was truly a very nice experience!! We learned a lot and were able to witness the night with the moon and without the moon. Everything was very pleasant, Rodrigo, the guide for this experience, told us very entertaining stories and helped us take photos of the moon. We were delighted with the experience.

Leaving the city lights and entering the desert submerging under the stars is the best.🌟 Thank you Rodrigo for the experience, for picking us up from the Hotel in Caldera and for the beautiful family photos. Tip: you need to wear warm clothes.
